All of the technician staff is trained to handle the equipment and properly identify any potential complications. The results are then delivered to the tending veterinarian who will come up with a course of action plan to deliver the best care for your pets.
We are proud to announce the addition of IDEXX I-Vision CR to our diagnostic line-up. The IDEXX I-Vision CR provides us with state-of-the-art digitial radiographs that will take diagnostic medicine to a higher level at our veterinary clinic. Using the I-Vision CR and its digital radiographs we can analyze more effeciently without compromising the integrity of our work.

Dr. Jeffrey Toll is a veterinary specialist who is board certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He provides diagnostic imaging (abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography), internal medicine consultations, and a range of endoscopic and other procedures and services. As a mobile small animal internal medicine practice, Dr. Toll and his practice Advanced Veterinary Medicine are available to us for the cases which require that extra bit of attention. Dr. Toll provides us with an excellent opportunity to offer you advanced diagnostic tools.

Dr. Armstrong's services include ultrasound, endoscopy, diagnostic procedure and veterinary intensive care. Dr. Armstrong's mobile internal medicine practice, Veterinary Internal Medicine Group, is available to us for cases that require special attention. His practice provides Dixie Animal Hospital with the ability to offer a wide variety of diagnostic tools to help diagnose and treat your beloved pets.

We also have expanded our resources for laboratory diagnostics by implementing the team of specialists and technicians at IDEXX Laboratories. IDEXX Laboratories provides us with our in-house SNAP®4Dx® Plus Test for heartworm testing, however we especially use them for their advanced diagnostics. IDEXX Laboratories has a huge collection of diagnostic testing ranging from advanced blood counts and chemistries to specific blood profiles geared towards identifying conditions such as Cushing's syndrome diabetes or hyperthyroidism. In addition to providing us with all of the possibilities in the reference laboratory, IDEXX Laboratories keeps their more than 90 board-certified veterinary specialists at the disposal of our veterinarians in order to discuss test results and potential plans for treatment.
